This page explains what personal data Print Spot Manchester (printspotmanchester.com) collects, why, and how it’s used. Print Spot Manchester is a two-person studio based in Manchester, UK. Any questions about this policy or your data can be sent via the contact page.
What we collect
The data collected depends on how you interact with the site:

Why we use it
- To fulfil your order — processing payment, making your item, and shipping it to you.
- To respond to enquiries — answering questions or custom order requests sent via the contact form.
- To follow up on abandoned carts — if you leave items in your basket without checking out, an email may be sent to help you complete the order. You can unsubscribe from these at any time.
- To keep the shop working — cookies for cart, checkout, and login functionality.
Who we share it with
Personal data is only shared with the services needed to run the shop:
- WooPayments (Stripe) — processes card payments. Card details are handled directly by the payment processor and never stored on this site.
- ShipStation — used to generate shipping labels, so your name and delivery address are shared with them to get your order to you.
- MailPoet — sends order-related and, if you’ve opted in, marketing emails.
- Etsy — if you buy through the Etsy shop (our Etsy shop) instead of this site, that purchase is governed by Etsy’s own privacy policy, not this one.
Data isn’t sold to third parties or used for anything beyond running the shop and communicating with you about your order or enquiry.
How long we keep it
Order information is kept for as long as needed for accounting and legal purposes (typically up to 6 years, in line with UK tax record-keeping requirements). Contact form enquiries are kept only as long as needed to deal with them.
Cookies
This site uses cookies required for the shop to function — keeping track of your basket, checkout session, and login if you have an account. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies are used beyond what’s needed for these core functions.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data is held about you
- Ask for incorrect data to be corrected
- Ask for your data to be deleted, where there’s no legal reason to keep it (e.g. tax records)
- Object to how your data is used, or withdraw marketing consent at any time
